Purpose: Promote good health and the welfare of cats in the community by educating and providing resources that encourage responsible ownership.

 

 

Cat Food Collections: The cat food collection project is an activity to collect dry cat food to support the efforts of Richard and Susan Edwards to provide cat food for the less fortunate cat owner families in our area.  The cat food would be distributed in conjunction with the Wildwood Food Pantry.  To support this project a collection container and sign that requested donations of dry cat food was placed at the Seabreeze Recreation Center for the month of March.  In addition, cat food is collected at the monthly CCV meetings.

 

2018 Collection Totals:  Collection totals for the one month Seabreeze Recreation Center activity was 1309 lbs.  The total for collection at CCV meetings was 1310 lbs for an overall 2018 total of 2619 lbs.

 

2019 Collection Totals as of 3/29/19:  Collection totals for the one month Seabreeze Recreation Center activity was 1042 lbs.  The total for collection at CCV meetings thus far is 236 lbs for an overall 2018 total of 1278 lbs.

 

2020 Collection Totals The total for collection at CCV meetings and distribution to the Wildwood Food Pantry was 3038. lbs.

 

2021 Collection Totals The total for collection at CCV meetings and distribution to the Wildwood Food Pantry was 3599 lbs.
